Paracoding runs entirely in your accounts — your Google Cloud, your model key. That's what keeps your fleet yours. Here's the short list of what to set up first. Most of it is free, and the fiddly parts we automate for you in the setup guide.
Four things. Two quick sign-ups, one card-on-file for the free trial, and your model key.
A regular Gmail / Google account. "Sign in with Google" is how you log into your fleet, and it's the identity your approvals run as. If you have Gmail, you're already done.
Your fleet deploys into your own Google Cloud project. New accounts get $300 in free trial credits — you add a card to unlock the trial, but Google won't charge you unless you choose to upgrade. This is the single most important step: it's what makes the fleet yours.
The agents think with a large language model. You bring your own — a Claude plan starting around $20/month, or Anthropic API credits. You keep the model relationship and the spend; Paracoding just orchestrates.
Your Anthropic (Claude) key you copy once from your Anthropic console — different vendor, their login, so that one's on you. Your Gemini key we handle for you: since you're already signed in to Google with billing on, the setup guide enables the Vertex AI / Generative Language API and mints the key during install.
You asked whether the Gemini key can be automated. It can — here's the honest split.
Rule of thumb: if it's a new account at another company, that's you. If it's a resource inside your own Google Cloud, the installer does it — behind your passkey.
